This highly accurate sensor evolved from the Audiowell Heat Meter used in China and parts of Europe. Audiowell has had a major share of the China heat meter market so this product has been in mass production for a number of years providing a dependable and very accurate flow meter. Audiowell adapted their heat meter for the North America marketplace so this flow sensor is readily available for local customers. This flow sensor is available in a complete assembly (including a LCD display) with the microprocessor and a complete PCBA so the flow sensor is basically plug and play ready for use or for testing and evaluation. The sensor is very adaptable to measuring a wide variety of liquids and can be made part of the Internet of Things and for Smart Grid applications.

Applications:
Water utility meters, instrumentation, process control, measuring the addition or emptying of liquids for the HVAC industry, highly accurate measuring of liquids for oils, gases and a number of fluids, as well as for use in commercial or residential meters for water heaters, water purifiers and pool pump applications. This meter is fully capable of signally usage to the homeowner in a smart grid home.

Model T/R975-US0014L353-1 The transducer is the core element of the ultrasonic flow meters and level sensors. Audiowell transducers use the transit time principal where opposite sending and receiving ultrasonic flow sensors are used to transmit signals through the flow. The signal travels faster when moving with the flow stream than against the flow stream. The difference between the two transit times is used to calculate the flow rate. The Audiowell flow sensor is normally accurate to less than 1% for the flow rate. Designed with a rugged metal case, this transducer can be mounted with direct contact to the liquid. The robust design allows for the transducer to be resistant to water pressure affecting performance while decreasing any distortion caused by environmental factors. It's unit block construction makes for easy mounting and to solder. The lower power consumption allows for battery-operated applications.
